How to Use

1. Surface preparation
Ensure the area to be treated is clean and free from dirt, grease, debris and previous finishes. Do not apply to wood that is damp. Wet and oily woods require wiping with white spirit before application.

2. Shake well before use
Shake product well before use, as separation occurs during storage. Apply carefully with a lint free cloth or brush and avoid excess material laying on the top. Leave for 10-15 minutes and then remove any remaining oil with a clean lint free cloth.

3. Allow to dry
Apply a minimum of 2 coats internally on new wood allowing 6–10 hours between coats. For exterior use apply a minimum of 3 coats, ensuring any end grain wood is thoroughly treated. Exterior wood will require regular re-oiling. Allow minimum 24 hours to fully dry during which time protect from water.
