• Ensure the wood is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or old finishes.
• Avoid using white spirit for cleaning.
• For severely greyed areas, light sanding is recommended for optimal results.

5. How do I apply the Hardwood Colour Restorer?

Step 1 – Shake Well:

Shake the can thoroughly before use. Ensure the area is well-ventilated and avoid inhaling vapour or spray.

Step 2 – Spray Evenly:

Hold the aerosol 15–30 cm away from the surface and spray along the grain. Any drips or excess can be wiped with a clean, dry cloth.

Step 3 – Leave to Penetrate:

Allow the product to penetrate for 15 minutes, then polish with a clean, dry cloth for a smooth, even finish.

Step 4 – Storage & Reuse:

After use, invert the can and spray briefly for 2 seconds to prevent nozzle blockages. Store in a cool, ventilated place out of direct sunlight.

1. Shake well before use
Ensure the area is well ventilated and avoid breathing vapour / spray. Ensure the area to be treated is free from dirt, grease, debris and previous finishes. Do not apply to wood that is wet & avoid cleaning the surface with white spirit. For the best finish, severely greyed areas should be lightly sanded.

2. Spray Evenly
Apply the product liberally along the grain from 15-30cm away. Drips or excess spray can be evened out using a clean dry cloth.

3. Leave
Allow the restorer sufficient time to penetrate the surface and leave for 15 minutes, before polishing with a clean dry cloth.

Storage & Reuse
To prevent blockages, invert the can after use and spray for 2 seconds. This aerosol should be stored out of direct sunlight, in a cool well ventilated place.
